We will celebrate Read Across America week on Monday, March 2 through Friday, March 6. This year’s theme is celebrate reading diverse and inclusive books. Show your spirit for reading by participating in the following daily activities.
- Monday, March 2: Wear Your Words – Share Your Mantra! – Wear your mantra on a shirt or show it on a Post-it note.
- Tuesday, March 3: Think Big, Be Kind, Wear Purple! – Wear purple to celebrate being “purple people” – kind, curious, and caring.
- Wednesday, March 4: Wet, Wild & Brave! – Don’t sweat getting wet. Be brave like Jabari and wear goggles, swim shirts, flip flops, or water-themed/colored clothing.
- Thursday, March 5: Family Connection Day! – Bring or wear something that represents your family or culture.
- Friday, March 6: Team Paws or Team Claws? – Wear dog or cat ears, shirts, or colors, or wear Scotty wear.
